With Microsoft not recommending SharePoint Designer workflows anymore and Flow not quite there yet, a lot of business are looking for a third-party option for the workflows in SharePoint and Office 365. One of those vendors, Datapolis, is offering a full-featured version of their Datapolis Process System (DPS) product for free to customers using SharePoint 2013 or 2016. Datapolis Process System is a visual workflow designer for SharePoint 2013 and 2016 that offers a robust set of tools to simplify workflow development and deployment. It enables users to design clear and understandable business process diagrams which support human-centered workflows.
Even if the name says Basic, you actually get the fully functional Datapolis DPS system with all the features! The only limitation is that you can have a maximum of 1000 workflow actions per month, which in my opinion is quite a lot and is able to provide enough workflows for a small department!
